Remember when the whole family gathered around the television set, the theme song started, and for the next half hour nothing else mattered? That feeling is what this site is all about.
Sitcom Buzz celebrates the classic American television shows of the 1950s through the 1990s: the sitcoms, westerns, detective dramas and family shows that so many of us grew up with. We write about the shows, the stars who made them, what happened behind the scenes, and where those familiar faces went after the cameras stopped rolling.
How we write our stories
Every article is researched from published reference sources, which we list at the end of each story. We do not invent quotes, rumors or “insider” gossip. If we can’t confirm something, we leave it out. If you ever spot a mistake, please tell us and we will correct it.
Our photos
We only use photos that are in the public domain or released under a free license, and we credit the source under each image.
Thank you for stopping by. Pull up a chair, and let’s remember the good old days together.
